Events are part of the danger in Catastrophic Horse Racing, but the public evidence for each event is not equally detailed. The official Experience description confirms that a Mecha T-Rex event was added on October 16, 2026. An official Roblox event card advertised a Halloween Event for October 18. The official Battle Dogs badge confirms an event called a dachshund invasion.

This index keeps those facts separate from unknown mechanics. It does not invent rotation times, trigger chances, damage, rewards, or a complete event list.

Currently documented events

Mecha T-Rex

Status: added in the October 16 description update.

Evidence: official Experience description.

Known badge: none names Mecha T-Rex directly.

Read the Mecha T-Rex guide

Halloween

Status: advertised on an official Roblox event card for October 18 at 6:00 PM as displayed.

Evidence: official Experience page event card.

Time zone: not safely established by the public card.

Read the Halloween status guide

Dachshund Invasion

Status: exists as a named event in the Battle Dogs badge requirement.

Evidence: official Roblox badge description.

Known outcome: being killed by a dachshund during the invasion awards the badge when the condition registers.

Read the invasion guide

These are the only event-specific inner guides in this section because they have a direct official name and a distinct player question. The official Experienced Horse badge says players can “experience every event in the game,” but it does not publish the full roster. That badge proves a broader set exists without identifying every entry.

How to identify the active event

Begin with the live game, not an old screenshot. Read any event title, banner, countdown, or objective the current interface displays. Then compare the visible name with the three documented pages. If the game presents a different event, record the exact wording rather than renaming it after a visual guess.

During one event cycle, watch for four things:

  1. The event name or announcement shown by the game.
  2. The moment it begins relative to the race start.
  3. The visible danger and how the course changes.
  4. The result screen, badge notification, or survival state after it ends.

Those observations answer practical questions without assuming that an event always behaves the same way. A later update may alter the course, warning, or outcome while keeping the same event name.

Pick a goal before the event begins

An event run can serve different goals. For a normal race, your goal is to remain alive and reach the finish. For Experienced Horse, the goal is to encounter every event recognized by the current game. For Battle Dogs, the goal is the opposite of survival: the official description specifically requires death by a dachshund during a dachshund invasion.

Do not mix those goals. If you are trying to win, avoid deliberately pursuing a death condition. If you are trying for Battle Dogs, accept that the attempt can end the race. If you are documenting an unfamiliar event, prioritize recognizing its warnings and result before testing a risky route.

Event evidence and confidence

Official means the event name or date comes directly from Roblox, the developer, or an official badge. In-game verified would mean the current behavior was directly observed and dated. The event names here are Official; most detailed mechanics still need in-game verification.

An upload title or fan guide can show that players are discussing disasters, but it cannot establish an exact rotation or reward without visible supporting evidence. When two pages repeat the same unsourced claim, repetition does not upgrade it to official.

The safest way to use community footage is to identify a visual warning or sequence, then confirm it in the current game. Do not assume the uploader’s server build, device, or event order matches yours.

Build an event log that helps you play

A short personal log is enough. Use one line per completed observation:

  • Displayed event name.
  • Date and current Experience update date.
  • What the game showed before the danger appeared.
  • Whether you survived, died, or finished.
  • Any badge notification that actually appeared.

Do not add guessed probabilities. Ten rounds without an event do not prove it was removed, and one quick repeat does not prove a fixed schedule. If you are pursuing Experienced Horse, record names rather than relying on memory; the official badge does not expose a progress counter through its public description.

Recover after an event ends your run

First identify what actually ended the run. A specific event, another hazard, or leaving the course can look similar in a chaotic moment. If the result was unclear, use the next appearance to observe rather than forcing the same move.

For a race goal, choose a response that leaves time and space to continue toward the finish. For a badge goal, read the exact badge wording before repeating the event. Battle Dogs is narrow: being killed during the invasion is not enough unless a dachshund is the cause. Disintegrated and Interdimensional Troubles describe different outcomes and should not be treated as invasion badges.

Experienced Horse

“Experience every event in the game.” This confirms a collection-style objective but does not name the full set or required completion state.

Battle Dogs

“Get killed by a dachshund during a dachshund invasion.” The event, cause of death, and outcome are all explicit.

Interdimensional Troubles

“Die in another dimension.” This confirms an interdimensional outcome, but the public text does not explain how that state starts.

Disintegrated

“Disintegrate your horse and survive.” Survival is part of the requirement, making it different from the death-based event goals.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a fixed event rotation?

No official public schedule was found for the in-race rotation. Observe the current server and avoid planning around an unsupported interval.

Does every event award a badge?

The public badge list names some event outcomes, but it does not prove that every event has its own badge. Experienced Horse is the broader event-collection goal.

Is the Halloween Event already active?

The official Roblox page advertised it for October 18 at 6:00 PM as displayed. The card did not provide enough public time-zone context for a reliable global countdown, so check the current official page and live game.

Does the Mecha T-Rex event give rewards?

The October 16 description says the update added Mecha T-Rex, many badges, and a badge board with rewards. It does not map a specific reward to Mecha T-Rex.

How do I get Battle Dogs?

The official requirement is to be killed by a dachshund during a dachshund invasion. See the Dachshund Invasion guide for a careful attempt plan.

Official sources checked

Evidence status: event existence and quoted badge outcomes are Official as checked October 17, 2026. Rotation, triggers, damage, course changes, completion rules, and rewards still need in-game testing.
